TREATMENT OPTIONS
(Levels Of Care For Addictions)
The treatment options available to
treat any addiction vary depending on the level of care that you or your loved
one might need. At times, addictions can be treated in our office with the
support of free 12 step programs available through the community. At other
times, such as with alcohol or drug dependency, additional treatment may be
required which includes Intensive Outpatient Programs which are 15-20 hours per
week, Partial Hospital Programs which are 40 hours per week during the day at a
hospital or other specialized treatment setting and Residential Treatment which
occurs in a residential setting where the client lives and receives full time
support and care.Ý Inpatient care is
available to people who need inpatient care where detox and medical care are
needed along with addictions treatment.
The first step in treatment is an
objective evaluation which is followed by a treatment plan aimed to provide the
most treatment at the least restrictive level of care available.

ADDICTION Support Programs
If
you or your loved one is affected by an addiction, you know the frustration is
faced along with your loved ones who try to support you or your family member.
Kindness and compassion are needed to address the challenges that addiction
brings and we offer both. We teach you the skills to help learn how to cope
with and overcome the problems associated with an addiction.Ý We work with children, teens and adults who
are affected by addictions as well.
The
Addictions Support Program offers you quality low cost evaluation services
forÝ any addiction that you might have.
Our evaluation takes three hours and involves the completion of 5-10 tests
during the evaluation. If an addiction diagnosis is established, a
solution-oriented treatment plan is then mapped out and implemented.
We offer educational
programs and counseling groups for the families and loved ones and those diagnosed
with an addiction.

Solution Focused Therapy
At Family Resource Centers, we
focus on the solutions to addiction difficulties.Ý Through Solution Focused Therapy, individuals and families are
able to work with the therapist to develop solutions to problems identified by
the client.Ý Such therapies are designed
to get to the specific problem and to resolve it immediately.
When to ask for Help
Many people who need support and
encouragement never ask for it. They are afraid if they ask for help they may
appear weak, be labeled as crazy, or look dumb or stupid to their friends. Some
are afraid others will find out they went for help and conclude they have a
"mental problem."
Nothing could be further from the truth.
It takes courage to make a call or to write or send an e-mail, because when you
ask for help you break the cycle of doing the same thing over and over again.
We encourage you to take the
important first step and call us at 281-444-2678 or check us out on the web
today. We are ready to provide you with quality services.
