PACE
(Processing And Cognitive Education)
This specialized program provides a
unique therapeutic training program, which is designed to treat memory, AD/HD,
processing, attention, learning and academic processing deficits in children
and adolescents. This program includes 60 skill training sessions, 30 of which
are provided by the specially trained PACE Therapist and 30 of which are taught
to the parents to train their child/adolescent to increase their deficient skills.
There is a pre-program evaluation and a post program completion evaluation so
that the improvement evidenced by your child/ adolescent can be demonstrated to
you. This is a 60 session program which lasts for 10 weeks which has a
pre-evaluation and post evaluation to document the effectiveness of this
program. Upon request, we provide research studies to document the validity of
this treatment program and free videos to explain the program and how it
improves each participant.

AD/HD Support Programs
If
you or your loved one are affected by Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder,
you know the frustration is faced along with their loved ones who try to
support them in their daily lives. Kindness and compassion are needed to
address the challenges that AD/HD brings and we offer both. We teach you the
skills to help learn how to cope with and overcome the problems associated with
AD/HD.Ý We work with children, teens and
adults who are affected by AD/HD.
The
AD/HD Support Program offers you quality low cost evaluation services forÝ Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
(AD/HD). Our evaluation takes three hours and involves the completion of 8-15
tests during the evaluation. If an AD/HD diagnosis is established, a solution-oriented
treatment plan is then mapped out and implemented.
We offer educational
programs and counseling groups for the families and loved ones of those
diagnosed with AD/HD, as well as the family member who has AD/HD.

Solution Focused Therapy
At Family Resource Centers, we
focus on the solutions to AD/HD difficulties.Ý
Through Solution Focused Therapy, individuals and families are able to
work with the therapist to develop solutions to problems identified by the
client.Ý Such therapies are designed to
get to the specific problem and to resolve it immediately.
When to ask for Help
Many people who need support and
encouragement never ask for it. They are afraid if they ask for help they may
appear weak, be labeled as crazy, or look dumb or stupid to their friends. Some
are afraid others will find out they went for help and conclude they have a
"mental problem."
Nothing could be further from the
truth. It takes courage to make a call or to write or send an e-mail, because
when you ask for help you break the cycle of doing the same thing over and over
again.
We encourage you to take the
important first step and call us at 281-444-2678 or check us out on the web
today. We are ready to provide you with quality services.
