Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD)
can happen to any of us or our family members. We all know someone
who has AD/HD. When it is someone you love, you find that it
is a most difficult illness to treat. There are so many medications
and forms of treatment out there, and yet, many continue to
suffer in silence and without relief. AD/HD appears to affect
3-5% of children and a similar number of children. And yet,
no known cure has been found as of today. |

|
|
| |
Alot of people do not want to take medications
for AD/HD. There are natural products available, such as ATTEND,
which appear to help some people and not others. You can consult
with your Physician and they will recommend to you whether or
not you should try this natural alternative. |

Alot of people try talk therapy or peer support
and this can certainly be helpful. There are crisis hotlines,
chat rooms and telephone counseling and internet counseling
services available to assist you in the comfort and safety of
your home. Often, just talking about AD/HD can help alleviate
the negative impract of the symptoms. |

We offer free screenings for AD/HD for children,
adolescents and adults. They are available on our Self Assessment
page. Please complete the AD/HD screening for the appropriate
age group and read the accompanying follow-up file to learn
more about your screening results. Then visit www.amenclinic.com
and learn more about AD/HD and take a second screening and review
the brain scans of people diagnosed with AD/HD. You can also
visit www.addwarehouse.com and get free information and materials
and resources to help you deal with AD/HD. |

Finally, whatever you do about your AD/HD
or that of you loved one, please DO SOMETHING! It is important
to treat your AD/HD and to not let it go unattended to. Here
is a link to our available self help program page, The Self
Help Store, where you can purchase a program to learn more about
your depression. In addition, our Bulletin Board can offer you
an opportunity to talk with others about AD/HD. |

to email us at our web site so that we can provide you with
more information and services if you need them. We can also
