Welcome! My name is Dr. John Garlock, founder of the Family Resource Centers. We have served the Houston metropolitan area for twelve years. My education includes earned doctoral degrees in Counseling and also in Psychology. I offer you a great deal of experience, having worked in hospitals, outpatient centers, our schools, and in Employee Assistance Programs with all age groupings and types of people. I enjoy what I do and I believe you'll discover that I am effective at what I do.

Because Houston's Family Resource Center is a family owned business, we offer a relaxed and reassuring environment atmosphere that is missing from many larger outpatient practices. Our phones are answered by Ms. Annisa Vasquez daily from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Fridays. Mr. Art Albracht, M.Ed, LPC, LMFT, has been working with us for eight years and offers an indispensible variety of specialized clinical services.
